Sponsorship - how it works

Share by emailShare by email

To enable us to enhance the service we provide to you, we welcome working with organisations and individuals to provide extra resources.

This can range from the funding of bikes for Special Constables, diversionary activities for young people and the opportunity to be at key community events to promote crime reduction and safety advice.

Thanks to the support of a number of key corporate parters,we have been able to deliver a number of successful crime reduction projects and initiatives:

  • Our 'On Track Partnership' produced a range of educational resources for children aged between six and 11 to help them grow up confidently, knowledgeably and responsibly. Experian provided funds and hands-on support for this. These resources have been made available to all schools and communities across Nottinghamshire.
  • Boots donated beauty products to support diversionary work with girls to help promote positive relations with local police officers, and raise the girls' self esteem to divert them from crime and drugs.
  • Ben Bailey Homes provided funding for speed detection equipment to promote road safety and reduce accidents on the county's roads.
  • We are also thankful to smaller organisations who have also been keen to lend a hand, such as Dynamite Baits in Cotgrave, who donated bait to support a fishing project to help us engage with young people.
