A man has been arrested after several cars were damaged in a crash.

Police were called to reports that a car had collided with two parked vehicles in Clipstone Road East, Forest Town in the early hours of Sunday morning (21 November 2021).

The car flipped over during the crash and emergency services were at the scene following the incident at around 1.45am.

Two men, who were in the car at the time, were taken to hospital with suspected broken bones and concussion. However, their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or altering and the pair continue to receive treatment.

An 18-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

“Emergency services were quickly at the scene, where the car had flipped over, and the men were taken for medical treatment.

“Thankfully no one else was injured as a result of this incident.
