Emergency Help

Although the Police are not mental health professionals and generally not the best option to get help Police and Ambulance services will respond to a mental health incident where there is an immediate, life threatening emergency in progress. In these circumstance call 999.

The Police do not complete general safe and well checks or concerns for safety for matters that are health related.

Where the concern is not an immediate, life-threatening emergency then there are designated commissioned mental health services that can assist.
