Appeal after taxi driver robbed at knife-point

Police want to speak to these three males in connection with a knife-point robbery.

Three suspects approached a taxi driver while he was sitting in his vehicle in the car park of the Aldi Store, Urban Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, at 8.40pm on Sunday 2 July.

The males pretended to be prospective customers before punching the victim in the face, producing a knife and demanding money.

The victim managed to flee from the vehicle and saw the suspects looking through his car. Cash and other items were stolen before they left.

Anyone who recognises the people in this CCTV footage, or has any information about the incident, is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 863 of 2 July 2017, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
