We're investigating an incident in Lowdham Village Hall where a mobile phone was stolen during an art event on Monday 18 September shortly before 3pm.

It's believed it was left on a table and an unknown man had distracted the owner before placing a piece of paper over it and taking it.

He is described as Asian, around 25-years-old and was wearing jeans and a black jacket.

If you recognise this man or have any information that could help, please contact us on 101 quoting incident 521 of 18 September.

Please be careful with your belongings, never leave something unattended and report anything suspicious to us as soon as possible.

101 is the number to call when you need to contact Nottinghamshire Police and it’s less urgent than a 999 call. Calls cost 15p, no matter how long the call lasts.
