Man arrested on suspicion of non-recent child sexual abuse

Nottinghamshire Police has acted on information received in relation to serious child sexual abuse allegations.

A 57-year-old man has been arrested today (Thursday 5 October 2017) on suspicion of non-recent child sexual abuse. He remains in police custody and will be questioned by officers.

An investigation has been launched and is in its early stages following an operation in Clifton.

Nottinghamshire Police take matters of this nature very seriously and are currently working on a number of lines of inquiry.
