Officers are appealing for information after a 29-year-old man was stabbed.

It is believed the incident happened in the Broad Street area of the city centre at around 12.40am today (Sunday 10 September). Police were called about the incident after the man attended the Queen's Medical Centre. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening or altering.

The suspects are described as four black men wearing dark clothing and hoodies.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area or anyone with information to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 56 of 10 September 2017.

101 is the number to call when you need to contact Nottinghamshire Police and it’s less urgent than a 999 call. Calls cost 15p, no matter how long the call lasts.
