Teenager charged with manslaughter in connection with death of boy in Aspley

A teenager has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a boy in Aspley.

Officers were called to an address in Tenbury Crescent on 20 April 2017 to a report that a boy had collapsed and was believed to be suffering from a cardiac arrest.

The boy, 14-year-old Reece Seagrave, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre where he was pronounced dead.

Cole Mackin, 18, of Albury Drive, Nottingham, has been charged with manslaughter. He will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 5 October 2017.
