Detectives arrest 27-year-old man in connection with three armed robberies

Detectives investigating a series of armed robberies at pubs have today arrested a 27-year-old man from The Meadows area.

Three masked men carried out the robberies at the Harvester in Castle Bridge Road , Castle Marina, on 9 July, the Riverbank Bar and Kitchen, Trent Bridge, on 24 July and the Nottingham Knight pub, Ruddington, on Wednesday (9 August).

Knives and other weapons were produced to hold up members of staff at closing time and steal cash from safes.

Police continue to question the 27-year-old man on suspicion of robbery in connection with each of the incidents and are appealing for information to identify further suspects.
