Update: Man jailed following the discovery of Brinsley cannabis grow

A man has been jailed in connection with a cannabis grow found in Brinsley.
Amarildo Spahiu was arrested after police discovered more than 1,000 plants growing inside a former restaurant on Cordy Lane on Wednesday 19 April 2017.
The 26-year-old of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to the production of class B drugs at Nottingham Crown Court today (Thursday 18 May) and was sentenced to eight months imprisonment.
