Two men charged following Chilwell firearms incident

Two men have been charged after a firearm was found at the scene of a collision in Chilwell.
Police were called to the junction between School Lane and Field Lane where a car had collided with other cars at around 2pm on Friday (5 May 2017).
A firearm was recovered and Gareth Wrenn of Winterton Rise, Nottingham was arrested having been injured. The 24-year-old was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a shortened shotgun.
Yesterday, armed officers attended a house in Merchant Street in Bulwell and arrested a 23-year-old man.
Martin Faulkner of Bosworth Walk in Nottingham has now been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, possession of a shortened shotgun and dangerous driving.
Both men have been remanded into custody.
