Update: Man, 38, arrested after fatal crash on A1 at Newark

A man has been arrested following a collision on the A1 at Newark yesterday (Thursday 9 March 2017).
The collision, which involved six vehicles, happened at about 7.55am on the northbound carriageway.
The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Officers are continuing to investigate the collision and are appealing for anyone who witnessed it or who captured it on a dash cam, to contact them quoting incident 137 of 9 March 2017.
