Police will be carrying out reassurance patrols in Wollaton this evening (Tuesday 13 February 2018).

It comes after a man was stabbed in Dentdale Drive yesterday (Monday 12 February 2018).

He was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Inspector Gordon Fenwick said: “This was an isolated incident and our investigations continue but in the meantime we are working to reassure people that Wollaton is a safe place to live and work and we do not believe there is any threat or risk to the wider public in relation to this incident.”
