Update: Man charged after shooting in Kirkby-in-Ashfield

A 26-year-old man has been charged after a man was shot in the thigh in Kirkby-in-Ashfield on Monday (6 August).

Police were called to Southwell Close at around 9pm and a 30-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

Ashton Dellamonica, of Vernon Road, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, has been charged with possession of a firearm and GBH. He appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court today and is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 7 September 2018.
