St Ann's Well Road update: Two arrested

Two more arrests have been made in connection with a shooting in St Ann’s, Nottingham.

Police were called to St Ann’s Well Road just after 4pm on Monday 4 June 2018 to a report that two people had been shot.

A 27-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested this morning (6 June 2018) on suspicion of attempted murder.

It follows three arrests made on Tuesday 5 June 2018. The 20-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray has now been released on bail.

The 15-year-old boy has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of a Class B controlled drug. He has been remanded to appear at Nottingham Youth Court today (Wednesday 6 June). 

The 16-year-old arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and firearms offences remains in police custody.

An increased police presence remains in the St Ann’s area and we urge people to come forward with any information. We would also again like to thank the local community for their continued support.
