St Ann's Well Road update: Boy charged

A boy has been charged in connection with a shooting in St Ann’s, Nottingham.

Police were called to St Ann’s Well Road just after 4pm on Monday 4 June 2018 to a report that two people had been shot.

A 16-year-old boy, who can’t be named for legal reasons, has been charged with possession of a firearm and possession of a class B drug. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Youth Court tomorrow (Thursday 7 June 2018).

We’ve also arrested three other men in connection with the incident.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray. He has been released on bail.

A 27-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested this morning on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in police custody.

An increased police presence remains in the St Ann’s area and we urge people to come forward with any information. We would also again like to thank the local community for their continued support.
