Men charged following knife point robbery at city club

Two Nottingham men have been charged after a man was robbed at knife point inside Stealth nightclub in Goldsmith Street in Nottingham.

The victim was approached by two men in the toilets of the venue at around 00:10 am yesterday (Saturday 11 August 2018). They threatened him and stole his money.

The door staff, who were quickly alerted, detained two men in the club until police arrived. They also recovered a knife.

Daniel Weldon, 28, of Raglan Close in St Ann's, was charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis and robbery.

Adam Watson, 22, of Camomile Gardens in Radford, was charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article.

They were both remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court tomorrow (Monday 13 August 2018).
