Officers have charged a man in connection with two linked thefts and a burglary in the Nottingham area

We were called to an address in Forest Fields on 30 March after an 84-year-old woman had an amount of cash stolen from her house.

On Friday (13 April 2018) at around 5pm we were called to a café in Goose Gate after a man had ran in and stolen a tip jar. Shortly afterwards we received another call of a man stealing a charity box from a garage in Huntington Street.

Robert Gladwin, 32, of Brambleway, Cotgrave, was arrested and charged with two counts of theft and one count of burglary. He is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court later today (16 April).

101 is the number to call when you need to contact Nottinghamshire Police and it’s less urgent than a 999 call. Calls cost 15p, no matter how long the call lasts.
