A 29-year-old man has been banned from Mansfield town centre for three years following a series of antisocial behaviour incidents.

Kyle Gregg, of no fixed address, was sentenced to 42 days imprisonment on Tuesday 3 April 2018 at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court for stealing perfume from a shop. He was remanded to court the following day and given a criminal behaviour order (CBO). The CBO application detailed over a dozen incidents involving Gregg and his continued antisocial behaviour in Mansfield town centre which caused problems for businesses and shoppers in the town.

Mansfield Sergeant Dave Booler said: "This is a good result for the people of Mansfield and it is great example of multi-agency work. The Four Seasons Centre, Mansfield BID team and Mansfield District Council all highlighted issues with Gregg. With their support we were able to provide overwhelming evidence to the court meaning that the CBO application was not challenged. Gregg will be arrested if he steps foot in Mansfield town centre at any point over the next three years and we hope that this serves as a lesson to him."
