Man arrested following assault in Radford

Officers have arrested a 26-year-old man following an assault in Radford.

A 43-year-old man was taken to hospital with broken ribs, a broken cheek bone and two puncture wounds to his arm following the assault by two men.

It happened at a house in Beckenham Road at around 8pm yesterday (Wednesday 4 July).

Enquiries are continuing to trace a second man in connection with the incident.
