Did you witness robbery near the Forest Recreation Ground?

A woman was robbed of her handbag by a man who threatened her with a kitchen knife.

The man approached the lone woman from behind and grabbed by her bag, pulled her hair and pushed to the floor. He then pulled out the knife and threatened her before taking the bag and fleeing on foot.

The incident happened in Mount Hooton Street, near Forest Recreation Ground, Forest Fields, at around 4.10am today (Sunday 11 March). The man ran off along Waterloo Road.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 128 of 11 March 2018.
