Officers are growing increasingly concerned for 79-year-old Greta Ford after she was reported missing from the Cotgrave area at 11.30am on Friday (6 July 2018).

Greta has dementia and officers are very concerned that she is out in the heat after a couple of sightings of her getting on and off buses in Cotgrave and West Bridgford areas on Friday.

They have released moving footage of one of the sightings which was on a bus in West Bridgford and strongly believe it to be the missing 79-year-old.

Greta is white, around 5ft 4ins with shoulder length straight hair. She was wearing a patterned cream shirt, oriental patterned dark trousers and had a black handbag with a strap.

If you have seen Greta or have any information that could help, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 668 of 6 July 2018.

101 is the number to call when you need to contact Nottinghamshire Police and it’s less urgent than a 999 call. Calls cost 15p, no matter how long the call lasts.
