Officers on patrol in the Harworth area in the early hours of this morning (7 December) came across an insecure property.

After believing that the front shutter to the unit had been damaged by an attempted ram raid, officers then carried out searches inside and found a cannabis grow of around 30 mature plants, worth a street value of around £27,000.

A 32-year-old man was later arrested and remains in police custody.

101 is the number to call when you need to contact Nottinghamshire Police and it’s less urgent than a 999 call. Calls cost 15p, no matter how long the call lasts.
