ARREST: Man arrested in connection with two distraction burglaries.

Officers arrested a 29-year-old man yesterday after reports of distraction style burglaries in the Clifton and Beeston areas of Nottinghamshire.

So far a number of members of the public have come forward with information following an appeal and investigators would like to thank them for contacting us.

The victims, an 86-year-old and 70-year-old man are being supported by officers. They are expected to make a full physical recovery but this incident has had a serious emotional impact on both of them.

We are still asking for information and if you saw or heard anything suspicious at around 6.15pm, Wednesday 6 June 2018, in Templar Road, Beeston or around 11.20pm in Lanthwaite Close, Clifton on the same day call us on 101 quoting incident 810 of 6 June 2018.
